Shangguan News, republished by Sina on September 22, reports that Unitree announced the G1+ on September 14. Unitree’s Chinese product page lists a two-degree-of-freedom neck, upgraded motors, stereo and wide-angle cameras, head touch sensing, external power support, and a six-microphone array.
The manufacturer lists the standard model at RMB 95,000 including tax. It states that specifications vary with configuration and usage, and that some demonstrated functions are still under development. The upgrades describe hardware and interaction capabilities, rather than a guarantee of general-purpose autonomy.
